who we are

There are different types of work

all of which add dignity to humanity

and value to society.

Using our unique voice, qualities and abilities for any meaningful work is

a Sacred Mission.

In 2009, we started as a staff network with the aim to raise awareness of the benefits of 'faith and belief' at work. We noted that when employees bring their whole selves to work, the benefits include enhanced staff morale and a more cohesive work environment. The network sat comfortably within the EDI Policy.

The network transitioned during the Pandemic to an online platform for London workers. Monthly 'Sessions' facilitated interactive conversations on different issues relating to faith in public life. Content was published and workers were encouraged and engaged.  It proved a strategic resource for the time.

Currently known as Hope Element Aberdeen,

we aim to address a compelling issue.

At a time of change, challenge and uncertainty, the times demand an element and depth of hope that can only be achieved by something transcendent and secure,

and capable of impacting the intrinsic sense

of identity, dignity and value within communities.

As a result, in collaboration with key partners we aim to curate and create content that will inspire meaningful reflection, facilitate open and honest conversations and spur action that will bring hope and activate flourishing

for individuals, families and communities.

The goal is to enable the rediscovery of our sense of value,

find our unique voice and each fulfill our full potential,

and by so doing bring hope to communities.
